Upcoming Agile Events in the GTA

There are three new Agile events that we would like to announce:


1. Afternoon Symposium at RBC -
Nov. 2nd @1pm; Downtown Toronto


The RBC Agile Center of Excellence is hosting its annual Agile Symposium
on November 2nd, 2011. We would like to
extend 50 complimentary invitations to the Toronto Agile Community for
limited seating at this internal engagement. The
agenda is as follows:

1:00 - 1:10 Introductions
1:10 - 2:30 Keynote Address: Mary Poppendieck on "Design
Thinking".
2:45 - 3:45 
(Track 1): "User Stories: Facts and Myths" with Alistair McKinnell.
(Track 2): "Team dynamics, the undocumented agile practice" with Gino Marckx.
(Track 3): "Continuous
Delivery: Rapid, Reliable Releases" with Kris Read and Farooq Ali.
3:45 - 4:00 Closing Remarks

2. Agile Open Workshops - Half-Day Nov. 4th; Downtown Toronto


Berteig Consulting is offering an Introduction to OpenAgile.  There are two sessions scheduled for Friday Nov. 4 – one in the morning, one in the afternoon.  The price is $50/person and at the end of the session, you will be fully prepared to write the OpenAgile “Readiness” certificate exam.  The session is being held at the Hilton in downtown Toronto.  The session agenda is as follows:
