Toronto Agile Community Growing Agile locally

One Day Agile Conference in Toronto - Tuesday October 20th

On Tuesday, October 20, 2009 the Toronto Agile Software Development Community will host the only full-day Agile conference in Toronto at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, in partnership with Agile Tour 2009 (Agile events being held in 17 cities across the globe). Keynote speaker Scott W. Ambler will discuss strategies for scaling Agile software development in his presentation "Agile at Scale" and many other long-time Agile practitioners will be sharing their tips and expertise. Registration costs have been kept to a minimum fee of $50 (including lunch) in hopes of making the event and information being shared accessible. This one-day event will run from 8:30am – 6:00pm entailing four concurrent sessions (New to Agile, Advanced, Management, Open Space).

Scott W. Ambler on "Agile at Scale"

Scott W. Ambler is Chief Methodologist/Agile with IBM Software Group, working with IBM customers around the world to help them to improve their software processes. He is the founder of the Agile Modeling (AM), Agile Data (AD), Agile Unified Process (AUP), and Enterprise Unified Process (EUP) methodologies and creator of the Agile Process Maturity Model (APMM). Scott is the (co-)author of 19 books, including Refactoring Databases, Agile Modeling, Agile Database Techniques, The Object Primer 3rd Edition, and The Enterprise Unified Process. Scott is a senior contributing editor with Information Week.
