What a Testing Mindset Brings to an Agile Team - with Janet Gregory
Testing in an agile team usually requires a major mindset shift for everyone involved. Testers who’ve worked previously in phased-and-gated environments are accustomed to testing at the very end of a development cycle. Programmers who are new to agile may never have done any testing before since they’ve been paid to write production code, not do testing! These beliefs need to change for agile teams to be successful.
As teams adopt agile values, principles and practices, all team members learn that they should be testing early and often. The focus is on building quality in and preventing defects, rather than finding defects at the tail end of the development cycle. In this webinar, Janet explains how incorporating a testing mindset and using test techniques can help your team understand the whole-team approach to building quality into the software product.
